Shayla's Personal Message:
"I began learning to crochet at the age of 7 from my aunt, who was in her early 20's at the time. When I told my friends that I liked to crochet, they laughed and said, "only old people crochet." I simply figured that I knew how to do something that my peers did not and stuck with it. Over the years, I'd crochet gifts for my friends, including beanies and scarves. Now, more than two decades later, I have enough courage to sell my handmade items, I'm always looking for new designs and when I complete a unique pair of earrings, it brings me joy because I know that there's an outfit they compliment perfectly."
